HOW TO WORK SMARTER
We are generally astonished that how
much we can do when we fully concentrate on what we’re doing and work hard.
When we focus and reduce distractions, we can complete something that ought to
take us a more productive and sharpen within short period of time.
Here, we will discuss some important
techniques to be a smart enough towards our work as below.
1.
GET UP
EARLY:
Get up early is a miracle by itself
because you have more time compare to others to complete your daily tasks more
sharply. There is no better way to start the day than by getting up early. Getting
up early is a habit shared by many successful leaders such as Athletes,
artists, writers, and some well-known business people. Even Hemingway agreed
with this notion. "There is no one to interrupt you, it is cool or cold,
and you come to your work and warm as you write," he said of working early
in the morning will eventually gives you an advantage.
2.
BE ORGANIZED
ALWAYS:
Always remember that to be organized is a
journey of particular destination and it takes as much energy to wish as it
does to plan, so always try to be organized and your half of the journey will
ends there. One of the experts told that “for every minute spent organizing, an
hour is earned”. Habit of organized nature will eventually helps you to sleep
better as well as make you more productive at work and increase your self
confidence. Overall it benefits you with healthier lifestyle.
3.
HAVE A TO-DO
LIST & CLEAR ROUTINE:
Indeed, to do list helps to give you
a proper direction for next particular work within particular timing. You can
increase your work efficiency as well as your productivity. It also improves
your memory & reduces your stress as well. Eventually it provides a sense
of accomplishment. Overall, to do list will helps you to reduce anxiety and
improves mental health.
As we all know routine is the usual
series of daily things that we do at a particular time and such a practice of
regularly doing things in a fixed way. With a clear routine we can be mentally
peace and we know what to do at when and how?
4.
TAKE REGULAR
BREAKS:
One of the best strategies for working
smarter is taking regular breaks. Without proper breaks, our minds become
fatigued and we become preoccupied. Once you've stopped multitasking, consider
pausing between each activity you concentrate on.
5.
TURN OFF ALL
NOTIFICATIONS:
Here, I will talk about myself;
writing is my passion so, whenever I am writing I need silence therefore I put
all my devices’ notifications off. Also, I have absolutely no notifications
appearing on my computer so that I can concentrate on the subject at hand. Try
disabling every notification while you work, or if that sounds severe,
disabling them only when you need to be the most concentrated. Alternately, you
can choose which notifications you really need and take action to segregate
them.
6.
FOCUS ON
RESULTS, NOT TIME:
Try keeping track of everything you
do for a few days if you're unsure of how and where you're wasting time. This
can be as easy as keeping a running list of your daily activities and how long
they take on paper. We have so many different apps available today, which
conducts all your activities throughout the day, that way we can quickly noticed
patterns in particular things.
Regularly reviewing your progress
will enable you to determine what really is and what is not working so far. Set
a reminder to review your accomplishments every week or month. Also make a note
of your difficulties as well. I guess doing this once a month is a great
approach to give our productivity and priorities an honest checkup.
CONCLUSION
The more we observe these brief periods
of productivity, the more we come to understand that the key to productively
completing tasks is working smarter, not harder. I guess, personally I'm
happier overall and more productive when I take care of my health, make logical
plans for my work, and try different approaches to my responsibilities to make
it more clear towards mine and my loved ones betterment.
